West Midlands Police have announced that a man has been charged with the murder of Reanne Coulson, who was reported missing last month.

This development follows the discovery of a body on Friday, 27 June, in Binley Woods during the afternoon hours.

Formal identification is ongoing, but the family of the 34-year-old Reanne has been notified of the situation.

This announcement is part of the thorough investigation into Reanne's disappearance last month. West Midlands Police have confirmed that they are offering continuous support to the family during this distressing period.

A 42-year-old individual has been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court today.

Additionally, a second man, aged 38 from Coventry, has been charged with assisting an offender and is scheduled to appear in the same court.

Detective Superintendent Jim Munro of the West Midlands Police Major Crime Unit stated: "We've been focused on doing all we can to find Reanne, and our thoughts remain with her family at this deeply distressing time. While formal identification still needs to take place, we do believe it is Reanne.

"We've charged a man with murder and another for assisting an offender, but our inquiries to establish exactly what happened and why are ongoing. We'll continue to update and support Reanne's family."

Reanne's older brother, Ashley, has expressed gratitude to the public for their efforts in helping to locate Reanne. He has requested privacy for the family as they grieve during this difficult time.

Police are still seeking information and urge anyone with details to reach out via their dedicated website. Alternatively, individuals can call 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
