Leamington Police are urging residents to review the security of their key safes following several reports of units being targeted and removed locally.

Police are reminding anyone who uses a key safe to check both its placement and installation to help reduce the risk of theft.

It has also been advised that key safes be kept out of sight by avoiding installations in obvious locations, such as front door frames or readily visible exterior walls.

Also, for better security, Police have recommended to secure safes firmly, opt for high-quality units, and use a robust access code.

Police have also encouraged local residents to regularly review their home security measures and promptly report any suspicious activities.
