A family-run business is set to replace a former coffee and wine bar in Leamington.

Lola cafe on Regent Street, closed its doors at the end of April, after a six-year run in the town.

It has now been confirmed that the space, formerly occupied by Lola cafe, will be taken over by husband and wife coffee connoisseurs Rafael and Lisa Hernandez, who run the Caffeine Project UK.

The Warwick couple recently built upon the success of their Caffeine Project coffee house and deli in Binley Woods, with a new Afternoon Tea room.

It follows an emotional video shared by Katie Jensen, who ran Lola cafe with her husband James, which disclosed Lola's closure was due to the fact running the business was no longer viable for the Katie and her family, despite their best efforts to keep things going.

Taking to Facebook, Lola owner Katie Jenson shared: "We couldn't be more thrilled with the handover of keys and legacy of this building is to such a wonderful family and business.

"We hope you'll join us in welcoming them to the town. We'll be first in line when they open their doors ! Keep your eyes peeled for progress and opening info ."
