Road works are set to begin next month (June) on a busy road near Southam.

HS2 has announced works will take place on Welsh Road over 2 to 3 June 2026, to allow for 'various landscaping activities.'

This will also include maintenance work to the existing verges.

A road closure will be in place on the road between 9.30am to 3.30pm on both days in June.

Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained but may be limited at times and HS2 has shared there will be a fully signed posted diversion route in place.
