Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum reopens after closure with launch of new exhibition

Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum has officially reopened after being closed due to "unforeseen circumstances."
As such, its highly anticipated exhibition is also now open to the public.
The new exhibition A Different View: Women Artists at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum was set to begin at the end of May; however, it was postponed after the gallery was closed as a "precautionary measure" to safeguard the artworks and ensure the safety of both visitors and staff.
The free exhibition is open Tuesday - Sunday 10am till 4pm.
The reason for the closure of Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum was a result of adverse weather conditions, which impacted ongoing roof repair works at the Royal Pump Rooms.
It shared: "We are happy to share that our newest exhibition, 'A Different View: Women Artists in the collection', is now OPEN!
A Different View brings together the work of over fifty painters, sculptors and photographers to trace the story of women artists in Britain through the collection.
"Presenting historical, modern and contemporary artworks across a wide range of themes, the exhibition explores what was possible for these artists from the late Victorian period onwards and charts the long and difficult route to professionalism."
