A bar in Leamington has requested changes to its licensing hours, including later closing and activity times. 

The Truth (Basement Bar) located on Victoria Terrace, has requested to extend the hours it sells alcohol for consumption on the premises on Sunday to Wednesday from 10am to 2.30am and Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 3.30am.

Also on Sundays preceding a Bank Holiday Monday from 10am to 3.30am Christmas Eve from 10am to 3.30am and Boxing Day from 10am to 3.30am.

In the application, the venue also requested extensions to entertainment and food service, particularly into the early morning hours on weekends. 

If granted, the changes will mean the venue can stay open and operate later than usual, just past 3am on weekends. 

Also, it requested to extend hours by one hour during the switch to daylight saving time.
