Four individuals have been charged after a cannabis grow was discovered beneath a nail bar in Leamington.

The discovery was made by police on 16 September, following reports of a possible cannabis grow at a Leamington property on Grosvenor Road.

The reports led to a visit of a nail bar on Regent Street linked to the owners of the property. It was here that officers found a cannabis growing operation containing 47 plants, lit by bright grow lights.

Two men and two women have since been charged with production of cannabis.

Trang Nguyen, aged 36 of Regent Street, was also charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply,

Toam Phain, 43, of Portland Street, was further charged with acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property, Thong Phain, aged 32 from Birmingham, and Kieu Tran aged 45, also from Birmingham, were all charged only with production of cannabis.

Their first appearance is at Coventry Magistrates Court today (18 September).
