Discussion on the future of Leamington's Parade continue with almost two-thousand responses to recent survey about the plans

Almost 2,000 people have responded to a recent survey on the future of Leamington Spa's Parade, which may become pedestrianised if plans are approved.
As part of a bold new vision to transform the Parade into a traffic-free zone, the council began seeking feedback on a set of concept plans designed to revitalise the town centre and boost its economic and cultural appeal.
This initiative is being led by The Leamington Transformation Board, comprising representatives from Warwickshire County Council, Warwick District Council, and Royal Leamington Spa Town Council.
Leamington Town Council also announced a series of upcoming information sessions, inviting residents, visitors, and local businesses to share their views on the future of Leamington Spa's Parade.
Responding to the first information session, Warwickshire County Council shared: "Thank you to everyone who came to our first Transforming Leamington information event!
"It was fantastic to hear from so many businesses and residents alike, about the future of Parade in Leamington Spa.
"It was great to hear a wide range of passionate views on the vision for Parade, including shopping, car parking, public transport and public realm.
"We have had almost 2,000 responses to the survey to date, which is a brilliant rate of engagement.
"Thanks to everyone who has got involved."
The next information session is set to take place tomorrow ( Tuesday, 24 June) from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Leamington Library, Royal Pump Rooms, Parade.
