Bank branch in Leamington set for significant refurbishment
By Nadia Sayed 11th Aug 2026
A bank branch in Leamington is set to undergo a significant refurbishment, with plans outlining both internal and external upgrades.
The plans centre Santander on Parade, which under the proposed works, will see a new shopfront along with changes to the internal layout of the site.
Externally, the refurbishment will feature a new shopfront and updated store signage in Santander's new standard script font.
Additionally, new Santander Work Café graphics will be applied to the shopfront window. The digital signs will also be changed, replacing the two existing screens with a single modern digital media screen. This is in addition to a new ATM which will be installed, replacing the current one.
According to the plans, as the site is a Grade II listed building within a conservation area, the "proposed internal and external works are an opportunity to restore and protect the building for further years."

In terms of the proposed internal works, these will include redecorating, with changes made to the current ground floor banking hall and counters and admin areas, adapting the till positions and creating new customer-facing areas.
Other works include a new toilet and ATM room, minor changes to the layout of the first floor, removing customer-facing private rooms by removing glazed partition walls to create a larger open-plan customer space.
Sections of the existing flooring on ground, first and second floors will also be replaced with new flooring.
According to the plans, the proposals are aimed at "refurbishing the existing building and will not impact existing access arrangements at the front entrance to this Santander branch."
