Artisan of the Month – September

This month at LOTT Bazaar, we're celebrating the wonderful work of Katharine Riley – our Artisan of the Month!

Her journey into spinning began unexpectedly, with a gifted spindle from her husband sparking a love for the colours, textures, and fibres that make hand-spun yarn so special. From exploring rare sheep breeds to learning art yarns, she's discovered the joy of creating unique pieces that combine all her textile skills.

Demonstration Day – Saturday 27th September

Come along and watch her in action on both a traditional wheel and spindles. You'll have the chance to explore yarn samples, see the process up close, and discover how hand-spun yarn can bring energy to embroidery or keep you cosy in your favourite makes.
