1. Ranjeet Singh Gallery opening

A new gallery dedicated to showcasing art from the South Asian diaspora is opening its doors at the end of the week (Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April).

The opening will take place at the Runjeet Singh Gallery on37 Chandos Street.

Runjeet Singh Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Leamington, that showcases work by artists who share roots in, or draw inspiration from Indian culture and aesthetics.

The team shared: "We'd love for you to help us celebrate and also see some world class art by British artists from the South Asian diaspora."

2. Leamington town history walk

Join Martin on a free 90-minute meandering walk looking at some of Leamington's interesting and historical buildings this Friday (24 May).

Attendees will walk and hear facts and information on the history of the town, presented through the lenses of some of the influential past Mayors.

The event will take place from 11am to 12.30pm.

3. Working with oil pastels

This Saturday (25 April), locals can enjoy a family-friendly oil pastel workshop at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum.

The new workshops are for children (aged 8-11) and their grown-ups who want to get creative together.

Led by an experienced team, each workshop provides the opportunity to explore different materials.

The workshops run from 10.30am – 12.30noon and are £15 per workshop (price includes 1 adult and 1 child).

This session offers a chance to create art together using oil pastels.
