Around 6,000 people gathered in Leamington for the final stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain 2026.
Visitors took to the Pump Room Gardens for a day of world-class sport which was filled with family fun and community spirit.
The event, held on Sunday 23 August, saw the start and finish of the elite women's cycle race in Leamington Spa, with riders taking on a 123.8km route through Warwickshire before returning for a thrilling finish along Newbold Terrace.
The Council's Events, Green Spaces and Licensing teams worked with partners to deliver a vibrant fan village in the Pump Room Gardens, which featured a big screen, cycling track, BMX stunt shows and climbing wall, alongside cycling clubs, charity and community groups, so that families were able to enjoy a free day out.

Cllr Jim Sinnott, Warwick District Council's Portfolio Holder for Safer, Healthier and Active Communities commented: "Bringing the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women to Leamington Spa, at relatively short notice was a fantastic achievement for the district and a brilliant opportunity to showcase our town on a national stage. This was a true team effort involving staff from across the Council, many of whom worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure the event ran smoothly."
The Tour Village that the District Council had created was described by British Cycling as 'one of the best and busiest they had seen' across both the men's and women's tours.
Cllr Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, added: "The Pump Room Gardens were full of energy throughout the day, and it was wonderful to see so many families, cycling fans and visitors enjoying everything Leamington Spa has to offer. We even got to see the Bicycle Mayor and Bicycle Bus children taking centre stage at the start of the race to showcase active travel. We are incredibly proud of the role the Council played in making this such a memorable and successful occasion."
