Spring has sprung in Leamington thanks to local scout troop

A local Leamington troop is showing off their Spring-themed creative skills with a new telephone exhibition.
Members of 4th Leamington (St Marks) Scout Group, alongside children from Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, have created a colourful display of 2D and 3D work using and re-using a variety of media whilst working towards their Art Activity Badge.
In April, they visited the mini art gallery called Art Box in which their work was being displayed in an exhibition.
The gallery, located in Leamington at the edge of Christchurch Gardens, is owned by Royal Leamington Spa Town Council and managed by Friends of Christchurch Gardens.
Alison Chantrey, Chair of the Friends of Christchurch Gardens, said: "It's such a pleasure to host the scout Group and to help them find their Artist Activity Badge. Their Spring display has brought a real splash of colour to Art Box".
The Friends of Christchurch Gardens are a small committee of local volunteers who aim to protect and enhance the Gardens for future generations, as well as raising the profile of the Gardens as a valuable and valued community space.
