1. The Eurovision Festival and Market return to Leamington!

The heart of Leamington will come alive this Saturday (17 May), as the popular Eurovision Market & Festival returns to the Pump Room Gardens, hosted by Nub News' sponsor CJ's Events Warwickshire.

The festival is open to all and will celebrate the start of summer and all things Eurovision. 

This year, the market will open from 11 am, lasting until 6 pm, street food and bars open from 11 am until midnight, and the free live screening of the Eurovision Song Contest will begin at 7 pm. 

Jamie Walker from CJ's Events said: "This is one of our favourite events.

"Alongside our normal markets, this is where we really get to celebrate our local community and host them for a day of fun. 

"We are so excited to be welcoming you all once again." 

Event details: 

Saturday 17th May 2025 

11.00– 18.00: festival and market with crafts, produce, food and drink and live entertainment 

18.00 – 00.00: street food and drink vendors, and the show begins

2. The Circus is in town!

Circus Fantasia began in Leamington Spa on Wednesday (14) and will run until Sunday, 18 May at Victoria Park, Archery Road in Leamington Spa.

It offers a two-hour live show featuring a mix of comedy, juggling, aerial acts, balancing, live music, and acrobatics. 

Organisers wrote: "You will be sat on the edge of your seat as a Human Cannonball performer is fired at breakneck speeds across the circus arena.

"Acrobats, juggling on a moving quadbike, unsupported ladder artistes and lots of skill and elegance high in the roof of the big top. 

"All make for a fantastic 2 hours of live family fun, suitable for the entire family."

3. Exclusive preview: Swimming at the Royal Pump Rooms, an animation

On Friday, 16 May for a special free drop-in event at Leamington Spa Art Gallery in the Royal Pump Rooms.

From 1pm in the main gallery, visitors can enjoy an exclusive preview of a newly commissioned animation about swimming at the Royal Pump Rooms, based on the memories of Johnny Boy Hannan.  

Collections & Engagement Manager, Vicki Slade, will lead a discussion about the animation and the stories behind it.

The event is free, open to all, and will last approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
