The official opening date for Leamington's new American-inspired frozen yoghurt shop has been revealed.

Yo the Go will open its doors on Regent Street in the town on Saturday, 7 November.

The store, which will sell six different flavours of frozen yoghurt, was inspired by the owner of the store, Brad, and his trips to America, where he noticed a missed opportunity for similar stores in the UK.

Speaking to Nub News, Brad said: "Frozen yoghurt is something that is quite niche and something the town hasn't yet explored, so I felt there was a gap in the market for it here."

This will be Brad's first step into hospitality in 16 years, and something he hopes will be an exciting addition to Leamington.

Having spent a lot of time in America, Brad shared that he was inspired to "bring a bit of America to England for people to enjoy".

Yo the Go will operate as a self-service store, with customers able to choose from six frozen yoghurt flavours as their base, alongside 24 different toppings and 10 sauces.

There will also be imported snacks, drinks, and American sweets available to purchase at the shop.

Ahead of the new store's opening, Browns The Roofing Company recently completed a flat roof renewal at the Regent Street premises.

The local roofing company, which serves Leamington, Warwick and the surrounding areas, replaced the existing roof covering with a three-layer torch-on felt roofing system designed to provide long-lasting protection and weather resistance.

Work involved installing a perforated ventilation underlay, followed by a 3mm torch-on underlay and a 5.5mm mineral-finished cap sheet.

Michael, founder and owner of Browns The Roofing Company, shared that the team takes pride in the quality of their materials and workmanship, as well as in contributing to the upkeep of local properties.
