Here are our top picks:
1. Charity Quiz night
Leamington's Windmill Hill Brewery is teaming up with the local charity Helping Hands for an evening of entertainment in the form of a pub quiz.
The event is scheduled to take place at Windmill Hill Brewery, located under the arches near the Helping Hands offices in Leamington.
Taking place this Thursday, 31 July at 7.30pm, participants can look forward to traditional quiz rounds, including general knowledge, film trivia, and the ever-popular music round.
The evening will also feature a few surprises to keep guests on their toes.
Entry is set at just £2 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the Helping Hands Community Project. Everyone is encouraged to join, with teams required to maintain a maximum of six participants each.
Organisers have said: "Come along, show off your trivia skills, and support a great cause.”
2. Inaugural Leamington market
Leamington Spa’s brand-new weekly market on Holly Walk launches this Friday (1 August).
It will run every Friday from 10am to 4pm on a three-month trial.
Brought to you by CJ's Events Warwickshire in partnership with Warwick District Council, this vibrant new market will bring together a fantastic mix of local produce and independent traders, offering everything from fresh fruit and veg, artisan pies, and specialty cheeses, to general goods and hand-crafted items.
Jamie Probert-Walker, Director of CJ's Events Warwickshire, said: "For a number of years, we've received regular requests to bring a weekly market back to Leamington.
“While the town currently hosts a successful monthly market and weekly festive markets from October to December, these are primarily aimed at weekend visitors. We'll be gathering feedback over the three months and review the success with the council.
"Many will remember when Leamington held a traditional weekly market, offering essentials such as fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, pies, and other local produce. We're now excited to be working in partnership with the council to reintroduce this style of market - bringing back a valued part of the town's history and supporting local traders and residents alike.”
3. Art in the Park
Leamington's Art in the Park festival returns this week!
The free event will run from 2 to 3 August 2025, from 10am to 6pm in Jephson Gardens and Mill Gardens.
It features live demonstrations from artists and craftspeople in Warwickshire and the Midlands.
Organisers said: "Our ambition is to champion, challenge and inspire. We are passionate about all things creative, love where we live and encourage you to be part of it.
Organisers wrote: "We can't wait to see you for Art in the Park Festival 2024 on August 2nd & 3rd 2025!"
