A family-run gym chain has completed the latest stage of investment at its Leamington site, with members now able to train 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Fitness Worx, which began in Kenilworth and has expanded across the region, has been upgrading its Leamington branch throughout 2025.

The newest developments include around-the-clock opening and the installation of Swedish saunas, available to all members at no extra cost.

It marks another milestone for the independent company, which has grown from a single site into a UK-wide network and continues to expand. Fitness Worx has confirmed it will open its ninth location in Rugby, strengthening its presence across Warwickshire.

The refurbishment in Leamington has been delivered in stages.

Earlier this year, the gym floor was redesigned and fitted with new equipment. Over the summer, the changing rooms and showers were rebuilt. The new saunas give members dedicated space for recovery and wellbeing.

The move to 24/7 opening follows the installation of new security systems and turnstiles, which allow members to use the gym whenever it suits their schedule.

Fitness Worx director Jack Gibson expressed the changes are about making the gym more accessible while continuing to support the local community.

He said: "We've always been proud to be a family-run business, and our aim has never changed: to give members the best possible environment to train in. Making Leamington 24/7 and adding saunas is a big step, but there's more still to come, especially with Rugby on the horizon."

With membership covering all Fitness Worx gyms, including Kenilworth, Warwick, Stratford and Coventry, the company says it wants to keep offering a strong community feel along with more choice for a growing membership base.
