By Nadia Sayed 10th Apr 2026
Royal Leamington Spa Town Council has announced the official launch of its 26/27 Climate Change Grant Fund, designed to support not-for-profit local community groups in tackling the challenges of climate change.
This year, a total of £10,000 has been allocated to the fund.
Applications will remain open throughout the year; submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received.
The Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa, Cllr Ruggy Singh, said: "Although this is still a relatively new grant scheme, we have already seen a significant level of interest from across the town and have supported a number of inspiring projects.
"These include the Action 21 cycle project and Eco Hub, the CLEAN Thermal Camera Loan Scheme for residents and the '10,000 Sunflower' planting initiative. We are delighted to reopen the fund and look forward to supporting even more green projects in Leamington Spa."
Since the scheme first launched, more than £30,000 has been awarded to community organisations across the town. The grants have already supported a range of impactful local initiatives.
The next round of funding is now open and available to not-for-profit community groups based in Leamington Spa.
The fund will support projects focused on, but not limited to, reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices.
