Road closure details announced ahead of Leamington Spa Half Marathon 2025

Multiple roads across Leamington Spa will be closed this weekend as runners take to the streets for the Leamington Half Marathon 2025.

Now in its eighth year, the popular event returns on Sunday, 15 June.

Organised by Raceways, the half marathon has built a strong reputation for promoting community fitness, engaging thousands of adults and children through its inclusive sporting initiatives.

The run will both start and finish at the Royal Pump Room Gardens, which will also host the #LeamHalf Event Village, just a short walk from the start/finish lines, Event HQ, and the dedicated children's zone.

Warwick District Council has confirmed the following road closures:

From 06:00am to 14:00pm

  • (Lower) Parade

From 06:00am to 12:15pm

  • Priory Terrace
  • Leam Terrace (West)
  • Willes Road
  • Lillington Road
  • Cubbington Road
  • Windmill Hill
  • Offchurch Road
  • Cross Lane
  • New Street
  • Church Lane
  • Rugby Road (B4453)
  • Hunningham Road
  • Main Street
  • Long Itchington Road
  • Offchurch Road (duplicate)
  • Welsh Road
  • Village Street 
  • Offchurch Lane 
  • Radford Road 
  • Leam Terrace (East)

Runners will head north out of the town through scenic Warwickshire villages, passing farmland and countryside, before returning to the town centre for the finish.

Thomas Flavell & Sons Solicitors, based in Leamington, are set to return as headline sponsors for a second year.

The firm will once again field a team of runners, comprising both staff and clients.
