Leamington's is set to come alive with reggae music, Caribbean food and live performances as a popular festival expands onto the street for a special day of celebrations.

The Bedford Street Reggae Festival street party will take place on 30 August, with the event expanding onto Bedford Street for the first time.

The event will run from 12noon to 8pm, and will be based at Bedford Street Bar, bringing live music, Caribbean food, performances and family-friendly activities to the town.

Organisers are taking the festival beyond the bar this year, bringing the celebrations onto the street and opening up more space for the local community to get involved.

The expanded event will feature Caribbean food vendors, craft workshops, charity fundraisers and interactive performances, alongside live music.

Organisers said the move aims to strengthen links with local businesses, artists and charities while creating an inclusive celebration of different cultures.

They added that the festival will showcase local talent, support local charities and celebrate the "power of reggae music to unite people from all backgrounds."
