A £20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of a man who was found dead in the river of a Leamington park earlier this year.
Adam Lucas, aged 51, was found dead in the river in Victoria Park in the early hours of Wednesday, 15 April.
A post-mortem, which was carried out on 16 April, found that Adam had died as a result of injuries consistent with an assault.
Now, the independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information given anonymously that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Adam's murder.
It comes close to the six-month anniversary of the 51-year-old's murder.
Warwickshire Police has shared that it "believes someone may still hold information that could help us establish exactly what happened. No matter how small it may seem, the information you have could make a crucial difference."
The Major Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Adam's death.
Detective Inspector Gareth Unett said: "We're determined to make sure those responsible are brought to justice, and we're confident someone knows what happened. With a £20,000 reward now available, we hope those who know something will do the right thing and come forward."
A 27-year-old man from Birmingham, a 44-year-old woman, and a 43-year-old man, both from Leamington, were all arrested on suspicion of murder. They have all since been bailed.
A 23-year-old woman from Birmingham, initially arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and later on suspicion of murder, has also been bailed, while a 53-year-old man from Leamington, arrested on suspicion of murder, was released with no further action.
