Police appeal for witnesses after man reportedly threatens staff at Leamington supermarket with samurai sword

A man has reportedly threatened staff at a small Leamington supermarket with a samurai sword.
Police are now appealing for information of the incident which saw the man go on stuff cash into two carrier bags before taking tobacco and leaving the store.
The incident took place at around 8.40pm on Sunday, 1 February at Stanleys Court.
The suspect is described as a white man who was wearing a balaclava and dark clothes.
He is believed to have gotten into a nearby vehicle as he left the scene.
Detectives are working hard to identify him and asking for anyone with information to call 101 or report the crime online, giving incident number 368 of 1 February.
