Fancy joining a book club "without the homework?"

Reading Round, a book club hosted by prize-winning author Amanda Smyth, is starting this September (11).

The club will provide an opportunity for attendees to discover the joy of poetry and short stories, with open discussions to delve into the art of storytelling.

No pre-reading is required, and meetings are free and held weekly, lasting around 90 minutes.

Organisers described the meetings as: "Like a book club, but without the homework."

The first meeting will be held in Leamington on Thursday, 18 September at 10.30am at Temperance Bar on Bath Street.

Everyone is welcome, and to reserve a space for free, email [email protected]
