A recently commissioned mural by Leamington based street art team, has been shortlisted as one of the top murals in the world for October 2025.
The work, created by Brink Contemporary Arts, entitled 'Rebecca', depicts a scruffy cat, mouth wide open, releasing the birds she has caught throughout her life, including a robin on Christmas day.
This piece is the forth Leamington Mural Festival artwork to feature in the Top 100 monthly voting on the platform for discovering street art globally, Street Art Cities.
The other previously selected works are: 'Future Synth' by Void One, 'The Lady of Shrubland Street' and 'Acacia' both by Lord Numb and Mig29.
Mercia Murals CIC Director and curator of Leamington Mural Festival, Tim Robottom stated: "We are honoured to have been selected for this prestigious accolade yet again, especially with 'Rebecca' being such an unusual design concept.
"I hope the local community will support us by voting for our mural!"
Located on the side of Mews Cottage, just off Charlotte Street in Leamington Old Town, the mural is openly accessible to the general public.
