A local Leamington charity is holding a 'Bags of Kindness' Christmas appeal this year.

The Esther Project has launched Bags of Kindness — a festive appeal to share comfort, care, and cheer with the Esther ladies.

The Esther Project was established by Lianne Kirkman in 2023 - her mission, to create a nurturing and empowering community where every woman can heal, grow and reach their future potential.

It does this through a range of services, including counselling, one-on-one support, creative activities, employability opportunities, and drop-in sessions.

The charity said: "Your kindness makes a real difference. Thank you for helping us spread love, dignity, and joy this festive season."

The Bags of Kindness initiative, invites individuals to fill a small gift bag with a selection of the suggested hygiene and pamper items.

Each bag will be gifted to a woman in Esther community, 'helping her to feel seen, supported, and celebrated this Christmas.'

Collections will begin on 15 December until 19 December and donations can be dropped off at 6 Gloucester Street.

Alternatively, monetary donations are also being accepted and can be made here.
