Royal Leamington Spa Town Council has awarded more than £48,000 to local charities and community organisations as part of its 2025/26 Community Grants Programme.

This year saw a rise in applications, with nearly 40 percent coming from new applicants. In total, 45 groups received funding to deliver projects, workshops, events, exhibitions and improvements.

Applications reflected the breadth of activities taking place across the town – from projects supporting young people to environmental improvement initiatives.

A significant number of funding requests were also received and grants given to organisations focused on Health and Wellbeing.

The Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa, Cllr Ruggy Singh, said: "As a Town Council, we are incredibly proud to support such a wide range of valuable local initiatives. This year, we have increased our funding to £58,000 and encourage local groups to share their ideas with us."

"We understand that applying for funding can feel daunting, which is why we are offering a free workshop to guide people through the process. As Mayor, I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the positive impact these grants are having in our community, and we look forward to continuing this support."

The Town Council will open its 2026/27 Community Grants on 1 April, with an increased funding pot of £58,000 available. Constituted non-profit organisations and local groups with appropriate bank accounts are encouraged to apply.
