A fresh chapter has begun for an organic grocery store in Leamington Spa.

The organic, vegan and ethical store, CORE, opened the doors to its new in-store cafe on Saturday, 24 May.

The newly launched space introduces extended opening hours, a small seating area and new suppliers.

The CORE team shared: "We can't wait to welcome you in and show off our hard work, this has been such a long time in the making and we are so so so soooo happy that it's finally time to invite you all in!"

As part of the launch, CORE also announced an exciting new partnership with The Artisan Baker, an award-winning organic bakery based in Stroud. 

Known for its traditional, chemical-free baking methods and exceptional flavour, the bakery will now deliver fresh bread and pastries to CORE every morning from Tuesday to Sunday.

Introducing the new partnership, CORE said: "We know that we are SO lucky to be working with these guys, which means that you lot are also incredibly lucky because you now have a supplier of The Artisan Baker's mouth-watering bakes on your doorstep."

It comes as a response to the store's "turbulent journey with bakeries over the years," whereby CORE's most recent supplier struggled to reach the store in the mornings, meaning bread and pastries arrived at midday and "sometimes later".

"This situation has been far from ideal for us or for you, but we really appreciate you bearing with us through these bumps in the road and we are quite certain we now finally have the perfect solution!" the CORE team explained.

The introduction of new suppliers also taps into the growing interest in gut health, sustainable food sourcing and increasing demand for "real bread made with real flour" free from glyphosates and other harmful chemicals commonly used in non-organic wheat farming. 

To accommodate the cafe's launch, CORE has increased its opening hours, which are as follows: Monday from 8.00am to 16.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday from 08.00am to 17.00pm and Sunday 09.00am to 16.00pm.
