Free child car seat safety checks offered across Warwickshire this week

Warwickshire Police, in collaboration with the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership, are offering free child car seat checks at locations across the county this week.
The initiative aims to help parents and carers ensure their children's seats are correctly fitted and suitable for the child's age, height, and weight.
The checks will be carried out by professionals at the following locations, between 10am and 3pm, including Asda in Leamington on Thursday 30 May.
Other checks will take place on:
Monday 27 May at Asda in Nuneaton, Tuesday 28 May at Kingsbury Water Park and Wednesday 29 May at Tesco in Stratford.
The law states that children must use a child car seat until they are 12 years old or 135 centimetres tall, whichever comes first. After that, a seat belt must be worn.
In a post shared on Facebook, Warwickshire Police encouraged families to take advantage of the offer: "Please make the most of this opportunity to check you have the right seat for your child to help keep them safe whilst you are driving."
