Leamington Spa has officially entered the competition to become the UK Town of Culture 2028.

To celebrate the town's culture, creativity and heritage, the Town Council has submitted a digital postcard to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

The postcard illustrates some of Leamington's attractions including the Royal Pump Room stand, Town Hall, Royal Pump Rooms, alongside odes to the town, such as the circus elephants who are believed to have once drank from the river Leam, which is also featured.
