Leamington's popular Christmas lights switch-on returns next month, kicking off the festival season across the district.
This year's event will take place on Sunday, 15 November, with a Christmas market from 10am.
The stage outside the Town Hall will feature music from 3pm with the Leamington's lights set to be switched on at 5.30pm by the Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa, Cllr Sarah Boad,
Nominations remain open for a local community hero or organisation to join her on stage to switch them on, with nominations to close on Sunday 11 October 2026.
Parking will be free in all Warwick District Council off-street car parks in Leamington from 8am on Sunday 15 November to support the event. On-street and Royal Priors parking charges will still apply.
Cllr Ella Billiald, portfolio holder for arts, culture and economy at Warwick District Council, shared: "We're delighted to deliver these events on behalf of the district's towns, providing an entertaining space for friends and families to come together and celebrate the festive season.
"I would like to thank our Business Support and Events team, the Town Councils, and our many partners that work tirelessly each year to make these events a great success.
"Not only do these events provide a sense of community and belonging, but they are also a great support for our local businesses throughout the Christmas period.
"We look forward to welcoming you to our town centres for a season of celebration."
