A Leamington road which has been closed since early January is set to reopen earlier than schedule.

Buckely Road in Lillington, which was closed for resurfacing works, is set to reopen today (11 February) once all the barriers have been removed.

This is a couple of weeks earlier than initially scheduled.

Local councillor, Sarah Boad confirmed The buses will return to their normal route at some point this week, with updates expected when there is a definite date.

She shared on Facebook: "Thanks for everyone being so patient while the work was going on - the road surface is much improved."
