After months of hard work and a full makeover, a pub in Leamington has reopened its doors with a complete new look and unique American twist.
The Duke pub on Warwick Street reopened for Halloween night and is set to officially reopen next week.
The pub now hosts American-style décor with plans for live music, food and sport showing every week.
Owner, Ty Worthington, from Warwick, took over the venue a few months ago, described the process of re-developing the pub as both " a crazy process and a nutty learning curve."
But the results are finally coming together.
Ty said: "We are just kind of finding our feet at the moment, but we have got some good staff in."
"We opened for Halloween weekend and we were super, super busy."
The Duke will be open again this weekend, and then offically from Tuesday next week.
Originally from Missouri in the United States, Ty said the bar's American theme reflects a bit of home.
"There's a bunch of cowboy stuff in here, and we have a crazy American trailer, which the Leamington Fire Department helped us set up because it didn't fit through the door and we had to take it apart into five pieces and smash it through."
Now, The Duke is set to become a day-and-night destination offering both cheap and expensive beer.
Ty explained: "We are going to have a range of things, we want everyone to come, everyone is welcome."
In terms of food and drink, Ty added, menu items will include food from popular Leamington eatery, the Magic Wingdom and there will be an extensive cocktail list.
The venue will also host live music performances every Friday and Saturday.
During the day, sports will also be screening, which Ty described will make it a "sports bar in the day and some kind of classy cowboy bar at night."
"We'll have cheap beer and fancy beer - something for everyone," said Ty.
"We want it to have that same friendly feel The Duke always had. Everyone's welcome, even dogs!"
Ty, who moved to Warwickshire after meeting his now wife, usually restores classic cars, from Land Rovers to Porsches, but said opening a venue like this was something he'd always wanted to do.
He concluded by sharing The Duke is going to be something for everybody and a friendly, welcoming and fun space.
"It's the bar I want to drink at, really and we will be dog friendly too" he added.
