Closures have been announced for Leamington Parade, starting from next month.
Temporary closures will be in place, spanning over three Sundays from late February.
The closures are due to work which will be carried out to fix the street lights along Parade, which have been out for many months.
The exact dates of the closure will be Sunday 22 February, 1 March and 8 March from 8am to 5pm.
It comes after several local groups, including Leamington Society, wrote to the council, requesting the issue be fixed.
After it was raised by Cllr Max Langer at WCC, the Portfolio Holder for Transport, Cllr Jennifer Warren, committed last year to fixing the Parade lights.
Leamington Society shared: "Given that LEDs were meant to be more reliable and cheaper to run, the number of failures did raise an eyebrow. But then again, it's hard to beat the running costs of a lamp that's not actually on…
"Either way, we're looking forward to Parade feeling brighter — and safer — again after dark."
