Leamington Italian restaurant earns recognition for its transformation from local group

A popular Italian restaurant in Leamington has been recognised for its significant transformation.
Trattoria, located on Regent Street, received the latest Heritage Certificate of Recognition from local group, The Leamington Society.
Prior to the work, the premises had remained boarded up for a significant time and traded as the flooring shop 'WovenGround' back in 2012.
Now, the Grade II Listed Building has undergone extensive renovations, from the upper-storey sash windows to its new frontage.

Leamington Society shared: "We are especially thrilled to see the original awning brought back into use—perfect for those sunny, south-facing afternoons!"
Working closely with Warwick District Council Conservation, the Trattoria team made some careful choices to preserve the building's historic charm, including adding new quality materials such as hardwood and durable Tricoya detailing for the exterior.
Owners Cristiana Hustea and Dara Fars shared their excitement: "Transforming this place into Trattoria was about creating a warm and welcoming space where people can come together and enjoy delicious food and good company... I love Leamington Spa, and I wanted to contribute to the town's vibrant food scene... It's been a labour of love, and I'm so proud of what we've achieved so far!"
"We wish Trattoria the absolute best of luck for the future! Thank you for investing so beautifully in our town's heritage."
