A Leamington clothing store is set to close in February due to work 'beyond its control.'

Danish Wardrobe company on Regent Street in the town has announced "with heavy hearts" the store will be closing due to major building works at 117 Regent Street.

These works are expected to last several months, leaving the store with "no option but to close this location."

The team shared: "We are actively searching for a new home and look forward to reopening as soon as we find the right premises in the right location."

They went on to express gratitude to all of its customers, which have supported the store over the past 17 years.

"So many of you have become more than customers—you've become friends—and for that, we are truly grateful."

As of now, the store is set to close on 20 February.

Danish Wardrobe does however have another branch in Cirencester which will remain open.
