Temperance Bar in Leamington has announced a private screening of the complete "Lord of the Rings" trilogy (extended editions).

The event is set to take place on Sunday 31 August in the venue's private cinema rooms.

The films will be shown in full 4K (UHD) with full 5.1 surround on our pro-audio sound system (24 speakers and four substitles).

Organisers said: "It is going to look and sound amazing!:

Spaces are restricted to 25, so that everyone gets a good view of the screen.

Temperance will also be showing it in the side room, and the whole basement will be reserved for intervals, drinks and food.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available to pre-order and an order form will be sent in advance.

The first two films will have a 15-minute intermission with 30 minutes for the last film, so that guests can get drinks from the bar and have a toilet break.

Doors open at 9 am and the film will finish showing by 11pm.

Food, cakes and a full bar will be served all day.

The total running time for the three films is 11 hours and 20 minutes.

Comfortable, tiered seating and plenty of breaks.

Tickets for three films are £20 plus a booking fee.
