House evacuated after car hits gas main in Warwick Gates crash

A residential road in Warwick Gates last night (May 20) was closed after a car crashed and hit a gas main.
Police shut Woodward Drive and evacuated the neighbouring house after the single vehicle crash,
West Midlands Ambulance Service and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended.
The road remained closed until a gas engineer could assess the damage.
Motorists were told to avoid the area during the incident.
