Hundreds of people came together in Leamington for the Big Lights Switch On, held this Sunday, (16 November).

The day's festivities kicked off with a vibrant Christmas market starting at 10am, offering a range of stalls from food and drink to gifts and handmade items.

A stage was also set up outside the Town Hall, presenting musical performances from 1pm and live entertainment to 6pm.

The main event, the Leamington's lights switch on, happened at 5.30, with attendees gathering along the parade to watch.

Alongside the market and entertainment, there were also plenty of rides beginning to enjoy, from 10am.

Prior to the event Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, Councillor Ella Billiald, expressed her enthusiasm: "We're delighted to deliver these events on behalf of the District's towns, providing an entertaining space for friends and families to come together and celebrate the festive season.
