An additional 24/7 road closure has been announced for a planned road closure near Southam, starting in May.

The closure of the A425 Leamington Road, near Dallas Burston Polo Club will now also include a closure from 7am on Saturday 23 May to 6pm on Monday 25 May.

Initially, the closure was previosuly just announced for Tuesday 5 May to Sunday 31 May 2026, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on weekdays and 7am to 2pm during the weekends, with overnight temporary traffic lights.

The works will be on the permanent diversion of electrical assets. During the closure HS2 will also be constructing the new bellmouth for the future mechanical, electrical and pumping building.

HS2 said: "You may notice increased levels of construction activity and some travel disruption. There will be a fully signed diversion in place to help drivers navigate their way."
