'Connection, recovery and renewal in nature': Woodland wellbeing programme booking now open
By Nadia Sayed 5th May 2026
As the seasons turn, a woodland wellbeing programme is now open for bookings to people 'seeking connection, recovery and renewal in nature.'
Leamington-based group ARC (Achieving Results in Communities) is inviting local residents to join its Woodland Wellbeing Summer Course, part of a seasonal programme that runs throughout the year, supporting mental and physical wellbeing through nature connection, reflection and community.
Taking place near Radford Semele, just outside Leamington, the spring course includes a free taster day on 3 June, followed by six weekly sessions running 10 June to 15 July every Wednesday from 10am to 2.45pm.
The course is open to 'anyone wanting to improve their wellbeing and is particularly supportive for people experiencing mental health challenges, loneliness or social isolation, or those on a recovery journey.'

Across the programme, participants will:
- Share time around a fire in a welcoming, supportive group
- Learn practical psychological and personal development tools
- Build a deeper relationship with nature through guided activities
- Take part in gentle woodland walks and land-tending
Each session includes hot drinks and a vegetarian lunch, and free taxi transport from Leamington Station is available for those who need it.
The first session acts as a no-obligation taster, with participants invited to commit to the full course afterwards. Further seasonal courses will be announced later in the year.
