Works on a busy road in Southam are set to continue into next month, according to HS2.

HS2 will continue works on the B4451, Kineton Road in Southam, which began on Monday 21 September.

The works will see a single lane closure overnight from 8pm to 6am, which will continue until 8 October.

This is to allow HS2 to work in the roadside verges as it prepares for the new road alignment work.

The road will remain open for traffic in both directions under a traffic-light control system,

Work will be taking place close to the highway and drivers can expect northbound and southbound lane closures to change as work progresses.

HS2 further shared these works "are subject to local authority consents and approvals."
