Busy A road to face single lane closure for HS2 works this month

Works are set to begin in a busy A road in Southam this month (May 2026).
HS2 has announced a single lane closure on A423, Banbury Road in Southam, will begin on 20 May until Friday 22 May.
The closure will be in place from 8.30am to 5.30pm, to enable the removal of an asbestos pipe from the roadside verge.
Traffic lights will be on place for a single lane closure alongside workforce next to and on the highway.
