Bus routes changes to and from Leamington through Lillington, have been announced ahead of road closures set to start next week.

Work will begin on 19 January on Buckley Road in Lillington, between the junctions with Haddon and Wellington Road.

As a result, although the buses travel up and down Gresham Avenue, the buses will not stop t the Cromer Road bus stop.

Cll Sarah Boad shared: "I have asked for more information regarding stopping at Cromer Road and if information will be posted on bus stops - will update when I have more information."

It is anticipated that the road could remain closed until early March.

The closure aims to address repairs to the carriageway, which previously experienced surface collapses which were patched.

Cllr Sarah Boad previously shared: "It is great news that my request to repair the road has been listened to, but it will cause some disruption."
