All the Leamington roads closing for the Tour of Britain Women this weekend

Some of the world's best cyclists are heading to Leamington Spa this weekend as the final stage of the Tour of Britain Women returns to South Warwickshire.

The stage will start and finish in Leamington Spa on Sunday (23 August), heading through Kenilworth and south through the county, taking in Sun Rising Hill and Burton Dassett Country Park before returning back to Leamington for the finish.

Riders will set off from Newbold Terrace at 11am, reaching Kenilworth at around 11.25am.

The 123.8km-long stage is expected to be finished by 2.50pm.

In Leamington Spa, there will be several road closures and parking restrictions throughout the day on Sunday.

  • Newbold Terrace (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Euston place (6pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Newbold Street (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Holly Walk (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Parade (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Hamilton Terrace (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)

Warwickshire County Council has confirmed rolling road closures will also be in place ahead of the riders for the rest of the route.

At the start of the day this will see the peloton head along Kenilworth Road, the Stoneleigh Road as it heads to Stoneleigh.

Returning to Leamington at the end of the stage, riders will head along Radford Road through Radford Semele, along Leam Terrace and Willes Road before finishing on Newbold Terrace.
