Leamington locals are invited to celebrate everything eco once again, as Ecofest returns to the town this September 2026.

The event takes place on 5 September 10am to 5pm at the Pump Room Gardens and celebrates everything eco with a range of have-a-go sessions and activities covering everything from wellbeing and fitness to sustainability; a delicious choice of local and sustainable food; and a variety of music from local artists on the bandstand.

It is free to attend and is for anyone interested in learning how to decrease their carbon footprint, increase their healthy eating and step outside more to explore local green spaces.

Visitors can browse a range of stalls from local businesses offering healthy and sustainable alternatives, with charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) there to talk about the work they do in the community to combat climate change and improve people's health and wellbeing.

Now in its seventh year, the event has attracted over 8,000 visitors since it first began in 2019 and has become a staple part of the town's events calendar.

Cllr Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, shared: "EcoFest is the perfect opportunity to find out more about what's happening locally to improve our lives and the environment, and to discover ways in which we can work together for the benefit of everyone. Since it first began, the even thas proven to be a great success, demonstrating that people consciously want to make a difference to their environment.

"There will be opportunities to take part in a range of activities, enjoy locally sourced food including vegan and vegetarian options and explore ways to become more active in our district's wonderful parks… and of course, an event wouldn't be complete without a great line-up of music from the park's iconic bandstand.

"It's an event designed for everyone, so I encourage as many as possible to attend, talk, explore, discover, and commit to at least one change they can make that will truly make a difference."

Part of the ethos of the event is to show how easy it is to live a healthy, sustainable, plastic-free life. If individuals or companies offering sustainable, eco-friendly products or services, delicious vegan and vegetarian food, have a particular focus on plastic-free produce, or can offer 'have-a-go' sessions with a focus on wellbeing – the organisers want to hear from you.
