Leamington History Group has released it's two latest self-guided discovery trails (image via Nub News)

Locals are being invited to explore more of Leamington's history and heritage this September.

It comes after the release of Leamington History Group's two latest self-guided discovery trails.

Those interested in finding more about the town, connecting historic places, landmarks and stories along the way, can pick up a copy of the new Leamington Heritage Trails for young people and families at Leamington Visitors Centre or the Town Hall.

The first route runs from Jephson Gardens to the Pump Rooms, and the second from Christchurch Gardens to the Pump Rooms.

Key locations of the trails include Euston Place, the old Burton's Building and The Lucombe Oak - an impressive oak tree dating back to the 1840s, to name a few.
