Visitors to the Royal Spa Centre and Imagine Theatre's Peter Pan raised over £13,000 for charity this panto season.

This year's charity partner was The Friendship Project, a Warwickshire based charity that matches children and young people who are in need for a variety of reasons, with volunteers for friendship and fun, providing them time away from  a difficult situation.

Fiona from The Friendship Project, said: "We were so grateful to be the chosen charity for Peter Pan at the Royal Spa Centre. We raised a total of £13,741.41, which for a small charity like us is a huge amount.

"This money is equivalent to funding one child's outings for around two and a half years! We are purely funded through donations and grants, so this money will directly benefit children in need throughout the county.

"We are always looking for volunteers throughout Warwickshire and would like to thank everyone who helped throughout the pantomime season, along with the  Royal Spa Centre for choosing us."

The 2025 panto also saw record numbers of people watching the show, with over 30,000 people seeing the swashbuckling Peter Pan, which saw stars JP

McCue and Sean Dodds bow out for the final time. Cllr Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, said: "I'm delighted to see that our visitors have helped to raise an incredible amount of money for The Friendship Project and I would like to thank everyone who donated.

"It's wonderful to see that our pantomime continues to attract thousands of people every year, delighting audiences with slapstick fun, immersive sets and magical musical moments. The audience feedback we've received reflects how much people enjoy the production values and the interactive fun that panto brings.

"My thanks go to the team at the Royal Spa Centre and Imagine Theatre for the work they do behind the scenes all year round to ensure it's a success."

The pantomime returns to the Royal Spa Centre from Friday 4 December 2026 with Cinderella.
