Local mum releases charity song in late daughter's memory
By Marina Jackson 16th Mar 2026
A mother from Leamington Spa has released a heartfelt original song in memory of her daughter, with all profits earmarked for charity.
Marina, the mother of the late Jenny, plans to donate the proceeds to Myton Hospices, the charity that provided care for Jenny during the final four months of her life.
Sadly, Jenny passed away in August 2022 due to metastasised cervical cancer at the age of 35.
The song, titled Always With Me, became available for download on Mother's Day (15 March). P
At £4.99, every penny of profit will be donated to Myton Hospices, supporting their mission to continue offering free, expert palliative care to patients and families across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Jenny's mother, Marina, who wrote and composed the song as a personal tribute, stated: "The Myton Hospices gave Jenny (and myself) so much. The care she received was extraordinary, and it came at no cost to us at a time when we had nothing left to give.
"Writing this song was my way of a love letter to her, and releasing it to raise money for Myton felt like the right way to give something back."
The Myton Hospices provide specialist palliative care across the region entirely free of charge, relying on the generosity of donations and fundraising to sustain their services.
The song is available to download here.
