New Leamington folk club announces details for second concert this May
By Ruth Noble 17th May 2026
A freshly relaunched folk club in Leamington is set to make a welcome return with its second concert this month (May).
The relaunch of The Heart of England Folk Club took place on 28 April, where acclaimed singers such as June Tabor and Polly Bolton first started out in the 1960s.
Now, the club is hosting its second concert, Foak @ The Oak, on Tuesday 26 May.
Doors will be open from 7.00pm, and tickets are free, but must be reserved via Eventbrite.

Once again, Oak House on Upper Holly Walk will play host to a curated line-up of local musicians, who will each perform a 30 minute acoustic set of folk and roots music.
This month's artists include a rare solo set from Anya Fay of the popular harmony trio Daisybell; Titans of the Warwickshire folk scene Malc Gurnham and Gill Gilsenan; lively folk and ceilidh band Starley Road; and Tim Hemming, a singer and guitarist who specialises in early blues music.
Local folk duo Harper's Dove, who host Foak @ The Oak, are keen to showcase a wide variety of musical styles within the broad category of folk and roots music.
Ruth Noble, of Harper's Dove said: " We were lucky enough to see the traditional Mexican band Los Vega on their recent tour of the UK, which was very inspiring, and we'd love to provide a platform for Warwickshire-based musicians performing traditional music from other countries, including continental Europe, Asia and Africa."
