What You Will Do:

- Design test rigs and components using the 3DX toolset (Catia V6), transforming concepts into deliverable solutions.

- Create 2D drawings to support the manufacture of parts at internal workshops and external suppliers.

- Collaborate with customers to identify testing requirements and ensure test rigs meet the required specifications.

- Work closely with workshop fitters and supervisors to oversee the assembly and functionality of test rigs.

- Manage and plan workload effectively to ensure timely delivery of test rigs.

- Validate designs using appropriate methods such as hand calculations, kinematics, Multibody Simulations (MBS), or Finite Element Analysis (FEA/CAE), and prepare technical reports.

What You Will Bring:

- Expertise in vehicle testing methodologies and a strong understanding of road vehicle architecture, components, and mechanical systems.

- Advanced CAD skills for 3D modelling and the ability to produce detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing.

- Familiarity with various manufacturing techniques and the ability to optimise designs accordingly.

- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and solve technical issues independently.

- A proactive approach to resolving technical challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
